The WordPress theme completed for JZMcBride’s blog was a little different than how I normally do themes. Jill was happy with the overall free theme that they picked out a while ago, but she wanted it to match more with her site and a bit better functionality with plugins. I suggested the following plugins and installed them for her:

• Akismet (was previously installed but not activated)
• Digg Digg (a social sharing tool)
• Easy Google Analytics
• FD Feedburner (for tracking with RSS)

I copied the current theme to a new folder (it is a GPL-licensed theme, so I kept their link back in the footer) and updated the stylesheet with colors, fonts, and logo per her direction.
